Triguard (Acura Car Covers)
Coverking's Triguard car cover fabric is prepared from a specially made 3-layered material that protects the car from dust and dirt, bird droppings and tree saps. And also other associated environmental pollutants and light precipitation. Yes specially made UV inhibitors have been added and so a car cover made with this fabric will provide protection from the harmful UV rays of the sun, but then, there are other fabrics from Coverking that does this better. Triguard is not recommended for significant harsh weather, sun, rain, snow or ice. But it is great for light to medium weather outdoor or indoor conditions such as in a garage. You should not also be using the Triguard fabric in areas of high industrial pollution and where there is acid rain. The name Triguard comes from the 3 layers of protection that the fabric offers. This is a 3-layered material of which the middle layer is melt blown. But Triguard nevertheless can be a good choice if (a) it is used occasionally, (b) mostly used in a carport and other such places where people keep their automobile parked for some time, (c) the weather conditions are milder, (d) high solar heat and heavy rains are not predominant factors and (e) industrial fall outs are never reported. Under normal circumstances, the Triguard fabric works wonderfully well and provides a complete protection in the outdoors and the indoor too. Some of the plus points that highlight Coverking's Triguard car cover include its light weight dexterity and the user-friendly trends. Since these covers are mildew and mold resistant, they can be safely stored anywhere without the risk of bio-infestation. Also, the Triguard is easy on the paint because of the 3 abrasion-free polypropelene layers that hug the car body. Another encouraging factor of the Triguard fabric is that it is made with a single piece of cloth and has special invisible seams. Coverking uses the fewest seams to produce a perfect, custom fit without the "patchwork" look created by sewing small pieces together. This makes the cover look even better. On the other hand most other car cover manufacturers use multiple patches of cloth that are all seamed together. This they do to save on the fabric that is being used and thereby reduce the costs. But often the seams come off and when it happens the cover cannot offer protection anymore. Although it costs more, Coverking's designs result in superior fit and looks and the chance that the seams would fail or leak are non-existent. |
